Overview – SMA conenctors are commonly used with WiFi routers and router aerials. This connector can be mounted by drilling a suitable sized hole and screwing up the nut behind. It requires a soldered connection on to the central pin and earth. It can be used with many different types of coaxial cable such as RG58 or RG174.
